THE PROPHET MICAH
‘Micah the Morasthite.’
Micah 1:1
When the ministry of the courtly and cultured Isaiah was about half over, there appeared in Judah another prophet of a very different type, Micah by name. Isaiah was the associate of kings, being himself, according to Jewish tradition, of royal birth;
Micah 1:1 EL PROFETA MICAH
Miqueas el morastita.
Miqueas 1:1
Luke 16:1-8
THE MAN WHO ACTED WISELY
‘There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; … And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely.’
Luke 16:1-8
This parable draws a lesson from the conduct of a worldly man. Not that we are advised to act as he did—but that as he showed wisdom and decision in his worldly concerns, so should we in spiritual matters.
Consider the story. An accusation was

Luke 17:12-14
THE CLEANSED MEN
‘There met Him ten men that were lepers, … As they went, they were cleansed.’
Luke 17:12-14
Let us consider each point in the record:—
I. The awful state the men were in.—They were ten lepers ( Luke 17:12); the disease was incurable ( 2 Kings 5:7); and it was often sent as a punishment for sin. So it was with Miriam ( Numbers 12:9-10),
Luke 6:36-42
DIVINE PRECEPTS
‘Be ye therefore merciful.… Judge not; … Condemn not.… Give.… Cast out first the beam.’
Luke 6:36-42
Our Lord dwells here on what we are to do, not what we are to believe ( John 7:17), and He begins by putting before us the blessing and the curse ( Luke 6:20-26; Deuteronomy 30:19-20). Have you made your decision? Which course are you pursuing? This is the first great thought in the way of duty, ‘As your Father also is.’ The eye
John 3:2-3 him … Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.’
John 3:2-3
Why did Nicodemus come to Jesus by night? You say that it was through fear. Perhaps it was. We do not know what men will do when they are afraid ( Proverbs 29:25; Luke 12:4). But it may have been zeal. His duties would occupy him during the day, but sooner than neglect his soul’s welfare, he stole the hours from the night ( Luke 13:24; Php_3:14 ). Or, again, it may have been consideration. He would know how busy Christ
1 Corinthians 15:10-11 'NO EN VANO'
"Gracia ... no en vano"; 'Trabajo ... no en vano'.
1 Corintios 15:10 ; 1 Corintios 15:58

1 Corinthians 15:58
‘NOT IN VAIN’
‘Grace … not in vain;’ ‘Labour … not in vain.’
1 Corinthians 15:10; 1 Corinthians 15:58
St. Paul, of all men, was ever keen on Christian men and women not only enjoying their privileges, but also discharging their responsibilities consistently.
I. Because if we do not, God’s grace has been bestowed

THE EDIFICATION OF THE CHURCH
‘As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another.’
1 Peter 4:10
The weight of the Apostle’s exhortations is strengthened by reminding those whom he addressed of the ‘end of all things.’ The Son of Man, Who ascended to heaven, left behind Him a Church pledged not only to individual but to collective holiness.
