Psalms 104:12 — By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, [which] sing among the branches. By them shall the fowls of the heaven — Which sing among the branches — Most melodiously, many of them; therefore it is reckoned as a judgment to lose them, Jeremiah 4:25 ; Jeremiah 9:10 .

Psalms 119:120 — My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments. My flesh trembleth — Horripilatur, Job 4:15 . In the saints is a mixture of contrary passions, fear and great joy, as was in those holy women, Matthew 28:8 , and the one makes way for the other.

Psalms 58:6 — Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD. Break their teeth, O God — Disarm and disable them from doing me mischief. See Psalms 3:7 ; Psalms 10:13 ; Psalms 57:4 , to which last he seemeth here to refer.

Acts 4:2 — Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead. Being grieved — Being sick of the devil’s disease, as Moab was, Numbers 22:3-4 "fretting and vexing" at God’s Israel, and eating up their own hearts, because they could not tear out theirs.
