Verse 1
I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
A. M. 2989. B.C. 1015. (Title.) David's. This incomparable song of praise, which is the last of the acrostic or alphabetical Psalms, each verse beginning with a consecutive letter of the Hebrew alphabet, is supposed to have been composed by David towards the close of his life
