(mihss' rih fahth may' ihm) Limit of pursuit of the coalition of King Jabin of Hazor (Joshua 11:8; Joshua 13:6 ). The most likely site is khirbet el-Mushreifeh at the north end of the plain of Acco. The meaning of the name is debated. Suggestions include: Mishrephoth on the west (REB); “eminence of the waters”; “hot springs”; “lime burning at the water.”
