EUODIA . This is clearly the correct form of the name, not Euodias as AV [Note: Authorized Version.] ( Philippians 4:2 f.), for a woman is intended. St. Paul beseeches her and Syntyche to be reconciled; perhaps they were deaconesses at Philippi.
