The N.E. boundary of the promised land both in the past and in the future. Numbers 34:9,10; Ezekiel 47:17; Ezekiel 48:1 . Mr. Porter has identified it with Kuryetein, about sixty miles E.N.E. of Damascus, where there are copiousfountains, which 'Enan' seems to imply.
