Name given to the place where Our Lord, surrounded by people from all parts of Palestine, delivered the Sermon on the Mount and taught His Apostles the Lord's Prayer (Matthew 5-7; 8). Tradition locates it on the mountain of Karn Hattin in Galilee, near Nazareth and Cana.
