Days when the law of fasting is in force, namely: ember days, the vigils of Pentecost, the Assumption, All Saints, and Christmas, and all days of Lent up to noon of Easter Saturday. The law never binds, however, on Sundays nor on feast-days of precept (except feast-days in Lent).
