Pertaining to the disputed books and passages of the Old and the New Testament.
Of the Old Testament these are:
- parts of Daniel (3,24-90; 13,14)
- parts of Esther (10:4, to 16:14)
Of the New Testament these are:
- John (7,53, to 8,11)
- Luke (22,43-44)
- Mark (16,9-20)
Protestants commonly reject the deuterocanonical books of the Old Testament as apocryphal. See also: canon of the Holy Scriptures.
