san´ā́ - as (Codex Alexandrinus and Fritzsche, Σανάας , Sanáas ; Codex Vaticanus Σαμά , Samá ; the King James Version, Annaas ): The sons of Sanaas returned in large numbers with Zerubbabel (1 Esdras 5:23) = "Senaah" in Ezra 2:35; Nehemiah 7:38 . The numbers vary in each case (Esdras, 3, 330 or 3, 301; Ezra, 3, 630; Nehemiah, 3, 930).
