Spanish physician who lived in Castile in the first half of the fourteenth century. He was the contemporary of Abraham ibn Zarzal, the physician of Don Pedro the Cruel, king of Castile. He wrote a supercommentary to Abraham ibn Ezra's Pentateuch-commentary, in which he often opposes Solomon Franco and his supercommentary. Al-Tabib's work is still only in manuscript.
