Berean Study Bible
This is why the Israelites ... cannot ... stand against their enemies. They will turn their backs and run from their enemies, because they themselves have been set apart for destruction. I will no longer be with you unless ... you remove from among you whatever is devoted to destruction.
English Standard Version
Therefore the people of Israel cannot stand before their enemies They turn their backs before their enemies because they have become devoted for destruction I will be with you no more unless you destroy the devoted things from among you

This is why the Israelites cannot stand against their enemies. They will turn their backs and run from their enemies, because they have been set apart for destruction. I will no longer be with you unless you remove from you what is set apart.
