שָׁמַ֖עְתִּי

in my own land

ḥā·ḵə·mā·ṯe·ḵā.

חָכְמָתֶֽךָ׃

הֶאֱמַ֣נְתִּי

lad·də·ḇā·rîm,

לַדְּבָרִ֗ים

wat·tir·’e·nāh

וַתִּרְאֶ֣ינָה

hō·w·sap̄·tā

and prosperity

haš·šə·mū·‘āh

הַשְּׁמוּעָ֖ה

šā·mā·‘ə·tî.

שָׁמָֽעְתִּי׃

’ă·nā·še·ḵā,

your servants

hā·‘ō·mə·ḏîm

הָֽעֹמְדִ֤ים

lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā

haš·šō·mə·‘îm

הַשֹּׁמְעִ֖ים

ḥā·ḵə·mā·ṯe·ḵā.

חָכְמָתֶֽךָ׃

lə·ṯit·tə·ḵā

bə·’a·hă·ḇaṯ

because the LORD

therefore made

way·śî·mə·ḵā

וַיְשִֽׂימְךָ֣

ū·ṣə·ḏā·qāh.

And she gave

וְעֶשְׂרִ֣ים ׀

and of spices

וּבְשָׂמִ֛ים

do there came

as these that

mê·’ō·w·p̄îr;

אַלְמֻגִּ֛ים

of the almug

hā·’al·mug·gîm

הָאַלְמֻגִּ֜ים

for the house

וְכִנֹּר֥וֹת

אַלְמֻגִּים֙

wə·ham·me·leḵ

וְהַמֶּ֨לֶךְ

מֵאַֽחֲרָ֔יו

hay·yā·ḏō·wṯ.

ham·ma·‘ă·lō·wṯ

הַֽמַּעֲל֖וֹת

mam·lā·ḵō·wṯ.

מַמְלָכֽוֹת׃

hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn

הַלְּבָנ֖וֹן

לִמְאֽוּמָה׃

For the king

of Tharshish

שֶׁנְהַבִּ֥ים

and peacocks

wə·ṯuk·kî·yîm.

וְתֻכִּיִּֽים׃

so exceeded all

וַיִּגְדַּל֙

of the earth

ū·lə·ḥā·ḵə·māh.

וּלְחָכְמָֽה׃

מְבַקְשִׁ֖ים

ḥā·ḵə·mā·ṯōw,

in his heart

and garments

ū·śə·lā·mō·wṯ

וּשְׂלָמוֹת֙

ū·ḇə·śā·mîm,

וּבְשָׂמִ֔ים

ū·p̄ə·rā·ḏîm;

And gathered together

way·ye·’ĕ·sōp̄

and horsemen

ū·p̄ā·rā·šîm

וּפָרָשִׁים֒

פָּֽרָשִׁ֑ים

and whom he bestowed

in the cities

for chariots

in Jerusalem

bî·rū·šā·lim.

בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

in Jerusalem

bî·rū·šā·lim

בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

kā·’ă·ḇā·nîm;

כָּאֲבָנִ֑ים

hā·’ă·rā·zîm,

כַּשִּׁקְמִ֥ים

in the valley

baš·šə·p̄ê·lāh

בַּשְּׁפֵלָ֖ה

as plentiful

out of Egypt

mim·miṣ·rā·yim;

מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם

and linen yarn

וַֽ֠תַּעֲלֶה

mim·miṣ·ra·yim

מִמִּצְרַ֙יִם֙

[shekels] of silver

ba·ḥă·miš·šîm

בַּחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים

for the kings

וּלְמַלְכֵ֥י
