to me saying

ham·mā·ḡō·wḡ,

and prophesy

wə·hin·nā·ḇê

wə·’ā·mar·tā,

וְאָ֣מַרְתָּ֔

And I will turn you back

wə·šō·w·ḇaḇ·tî·ḵā,

וְשׁ֣וֹבַבְתִּ֔יךָ

wə·nā·ṯat·tî

into your jaws

bil·ḥā·ye·ḵā;

בִּלְחָיֶ֑יךָ

and I will bring you forth

wə·hō·w·ṣê·ṯî

וְהוֹצֵאתִי֩

and horsemen

ū·p̄ā·rā·šîm,

וּפָרָשִׁ֗ים

of them clothed

of them splendidly

[of armor even] a great

[with] bucklers

of them handling

of them [with] shield

wə·ḵō·w·ḇā‘.

’ă·ḡap·pe·hā,

tō·w·ḡar·māh,

תּֽוֹגַרְמָ֔ה

of the north

Be you prepared

your company

that are assembled

han·niq·hā·lîm

הַנִּקְהָלִ֣ים

לְמִשְׁמָֽר׃

you shall be visited

in the latter

bə·’a·ḥă·rîṯ

בְּאַחֲרִ֨ית

you shall come

[that is] brought back

mə·šō·w·ḇe·ḇeṯ

מְשׁוֹבֶ֣בֶת

from the sword

[and is] gathered

mə·qub·be·ṣeṯ

מְקֻבֶּ֙צֶת֙

the mountains

lə·ḥā·rə·bāh

out of the nations

is brought forth

and they shall dwell

and you shall ascend

like a storm

like a cloud

lə·ḵas·sō·wṯ

you shall be

’ă·ḡap·pe·ḵā,

and It shall also come to pass

into your mind

lə·ḇā·ḇe·ḵā,

and you shall think

wə·ḥā·šaḇ·tā

וְחָשַׁבְתָּ֖

ma·ḥă·še·ḇeṯ

And you shall say

wə·’ā·mar·tā,

וְאָמַרְתָּ֗

I will go up

of unwalled villages

pə·rā·zō·wṯ,

to those who are at rest

haš·šō·qə·ṭîm,

הַשֹּׁ֣קְטִ֔ים

of them dwelling

ū·ḏə·lā·ṯa·yim

וּדְלָתַ֖יִם

having neither

the desolate places

[that are now] inhabited

nō·wō·šā·ḇōṯ,

[that are] gathered

from the nations

mig·gō·w·yim,

that have gotten

and the merchants

and with all

the young lions

kə·p̄i·re·hā

כְּפִרֶ֙יהָ֙

Have you come

have you gathered

הִקְהַ֣לְתָּ

your company

qə·hā·le·ḵā;

wə·’ā·mar·tā

וְאָמַרְתָּ֣

shall you not

when my people

and you shall come

from your place

mim·mə·qō·wm·ḵā

מִמְּקֽוֹמְךָ֙

mî·yar·kə·ṯê

מִיַּרְכְּתֵ֣י

out of the north

and people you

of them riding

And you shall come up

lə·ḵas·sō·wṯ

the in the land

bə·’a·ḥă·rîṯ

בְּאַחֲרִ֨ית

and I will bring

wa·hă·ḇi·’ō·w·ṯî·ḵā

וַהֲבִאוֹתִ֙יךָ֙

to the end that

hag·gō·w·yim

when I shall be consecrated

bə·hiq·qā·ḏə·šî

בְּהִקָּדְשִׁ֥י

before their eyes

lə·‘ê·nê·hem

לְעֵינֵיהֶ֖ם

of whom [are]

I have spoken

דִּבַּ֜רְתִּי

qaḏ·mō·w·nîm,

קַדְמוֹנִ֗ים

the prophets

that prophesied

han·nib·bə·’îm

הַֽנִּבְּאִ֛ים

[many] years

that I would bring

And it shall come to pass

shall come up

[that] my fury

For in my jealousy

ū·ḇə·qin·’ā·ṯî

וּבְקִנְאָתִ֥י

have I spoken

דִּבַּ֑רְתִּי

there will surely

there shall be

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

and shall shake [are]

So that the fishes

and the birds

of the heaven

haš·šā·ma·yim

הַשָּׁמַ֜יִם

and the beasts

of the field

creeping things

hā·’ă·ḏā·māh,

at my presence

of the earth

hā·’ă·ḏā·māh;

and shall be thrown down

wə·ne·her·sū

וְנֶהֶרְס֣וּ

the mountains

and shall fall

wə·nā·p̄ə·lū

the steep places

ham·maḏ·rê·ḡō·wṯ,

הַמַּדְרֵג֔וֹת

to the ground

And I will call for

throughout all

My mountains

of every man

against his brother

And I will plead

wə·niš·paṭ·tî

וְנִשְׁפַּטְתִּ֥י

With pestilence

and with blood

an overflowing

and great hailstones

אֶלְגָּבִ֜ישׁ

and brimstone

wə·ḡā·p̄ə·rîṯ,

and Thus will I magnify myself

wə·hiṯ·gad·dil·tî

וְהִתְגַּדִּלְתִּי֙

and sanctify myself

wə·hiṯ·qad·diš·tî,

וְהִתְקַדִּשְׁתִּ֔י

and I will be known

wə·nō·w·ḏa‘·tî,

וְנ֣וֹדַעְתִּ֔י

in the sight

that they shall know
