haṭ·ṭə·hō·w·rāh,

הַטְּהוֹרָ֗ה

you shall take

and his female

וְאִשְׁתּ֑וֹ

hab·bə·hê·māh

וְאִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃

of the birds

haš·šā·ma·yim

הַשָּׁמַ֛יִם

and the female

ū·nə·qê·ḇāh;

lə·ḥay·yō·wṯ

will cause it to rain

אַרְבָּעִ֣ים

wə·’ar·bā·‘îm

וְאַרְבָּעִ֖ים

and will I destroy

living possessions

of the earth

hā·’ă·ḏā·māh.

הָֽאֲדָמָֽה׃

according to all

when the flood

wə·ham·mab·būl

וְהַמַּבּ֣וּל

and his sons

and his wife

וְאִשְׁתּ֧וֹ

and the wives

of the waters

of the flood

ham·mab·būl.

הַמַּבּֽוּל׃

hab·bə·hê·māh

haṭ·ṭə·hō·w·rāh,

הַטְּהוֹרָ֔ה

hab·bə·hê·māh,

הַ֨בְּהֵמָ֔ה

and of every thing

hā·’ă·ḏā·māh.

הָֽאֲדָמָֽה׃

and the female

ū·nə·qê·ḇāh;

had commanded

And it came to pass

that the waters

of the flood

ham·mab·būl,

in the month

on the seven

בְּשִׁבְעָֽה־

of the month

from the fountains

and the windows

wa·’ă·rub·bōṯ

haš·šā·ma·yim

הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם

נִפְתָּֽחוּ׃

אַרְבָּעִ֣ים

wə·’ar·bā·‘îm

וְאַרְבָּעִ֖ים

On that very

and the three

וּשְׁלֹ֧שֶׁת

according to their kind

the livestock

hab·bə·hê·māh

according to their kind

creeping thing

according to their kind

lə·mî·nê·hū;

according to their kind

lə·mî·nê·hū,

And they went in

way·yā·ḇō·’ū

[is] the breath

And those that went in

wə·hab·bā·’îm,

וְהַבָּאִ֗ים

had commanded

and shut him

וַיִּסְגֹּ֥ר

אַרְבָּעִ֥ים

and increased

וַיִּרְבּ֣וּ

וַיִּשְׂאוּ֙

and it was lifted up

And prevailed

way·yiḡ·bə·rū

וַיִּגְבְּר֥וּ

and were increased

וַיִּרְבּ֥וּ

of the waters

And the waters

wə·ham·ma·yim,

and were covered

hag·gə·ḇō·hîm,

הַגְּבֹהִ֔ים

[were] under

haš·šā·mā·yim.

הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃

mil·ma‘·lāh,

מִלְמַ֔עְלָה

and were covered

the mountains

both of birds

and of livestock

ū·ḇab·bə·hê·māh

וּבַבְּהֵמָה֙

and of beast

ū·ḇa·ḥay·yāh,

וּבַ֣חַיָּ֔ה

and of every

creeping thing

of the spirit

in the nostrils

in the dry [land]

be·ḥā·rā·ḇāh

בֶּחָֽרָבָ֖ה

and was destroyed

living possessions

of the ground

hā·’ă·ḏā·māh,

the creeping things

of the heaven

haš·šā·ma·yim,

הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם

and they were wiped out

way·yim·mā·ḥū

וַיִּמָּח֖וּ

and remained

wa·yiš·šā·’er

וַיִשָּׁ֧אֶר

and they who

[were] with him

And prevailed

way·yiḡ·bə·rū

וַיִּגְבְּר֥וּ

and a hundred
