and deal treacherously

כַּהֲתִֽמְךָ֤

you shall be spoiled

kan·nə·lō·ṯə·ḵā

כַּנְּלֹתְךָ֥

to deal treacherously

they shall deal treacherously

we have waited

every morning

lab·bə·qā·rîm,

לַבְּקָרִ֔ים

our salvation

yə·šū·‘ā·ṯê·nū

יְשׁוּעָתֵ֖נוּ

At the sound

of the tumult

At the lifting

mê·rō·wm·mu·ṯe·ḵā,

מֵר֣וֹמְמֻתֶ֔ךָ

were scattered

of yourself the nations

And shall be gathered

[like] the gathering

of the caterpillar

as the running to and fro

shall he run

he has filled

with justice

and righteousness

ū·ṣə·ḏā·qāh.

and shall be

the stability

of your times

of salvation

and knowledge

[is] his treasure

’ō·w·ṣā·rōw.

their valiant ones

’er·’el·lām,

the ambassadors

יִבְכָּיֽוּן׃

The highways

mə·sil·lō·wṯ,

the wayfaring man

he has broken

the covenant

he has despised

do he regards

haš·šā·rō·wn

like a wilderness

kā·‘ă·rā·ḇāh,

כָּֽעֲרָבָ֔ה

and shake off

will I be exalted

’ê·rō·w·mām,

will I lift up myself

shall conceive

you shall bring forth

shall devour

תֹּאכַלְכֶֽם׃

And shall be

[as] the burnings

miś·rə·p̄ō·wṯ

מִשְׂרְפ֣וֹת

shall they be burned

[that are] you far off

and acknowledge

[that are] and you near

gə·ḇu·rā·ṯî.

גְּבֻרָתִֽי׃

has surprised

the fearfulness

among us shall dwell

with the devouring

’ō·w·ḵê·lāh,

among us shall dwell

with everlasting

he who walks

ṣə·ḏā·qō·wṯ,

with sincerity

מֵֽישָׁרִ֑ים

he who despises

of oppressions

ma·‘ă·šaq·qō·wṯ,

מַעֲשַׁקּ֗וֹת

from holding

from hearing

miš·šə·mō·a‘

from looking

on the heights

[shall be] the munitions

his place of defense

miś·gab·bōw;

מִשְׂגַּבּ֑וֹ

shall be given him

[shall be] sure

ne·’ĕ·mā·nîm.

נֶאֱמָנִֽים׃

in His beauty

bə·yā·p̄ə·yōw

te·ḥĕ·ze·nāh

תֶּחֱזֶ֣ינָה

they shall behold

תִּרְאֶ֖ינָה

that is very far off

mar·ḥaq·qîm.

מַרְחַקִּֽים׃

shall meditate

[is] the scribe

[is] the receiver

[is] he who counted

ham·miḡ·dā·lîm.

הַמִּגְדָּלִֽים׃

than you can perceive

miš·šə·mō·w·a‘,

מִשְּׁמ֔וֹעַ

of a stammering

[that you canst] understand

of our appointed

mō·w·‘ă·ḏê·nū;

מֽוֹעֲדֵ֑נוּ

yə·rū·šā·lim

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם

a dwelling place

do [that] be taken down

do be removed

one of the stakes

yə·ṯê·ḏō·ṯāw

יְתֵֽדֹתָיו֙

thereof shall ever

and shall any

of the cords

thereof be broken

yin·nā·ṯê·qū.

יִנָּתֵֽקוּ׃

the majestic

[will be] to us a place

of broad rivers

wherein shall go

shall gallant

ya·‘aḇ·ren·nū.

יַעַבְרֶֽנּוּ׃

[is] our judge

šō·p̄ə·ṭê·nū,

[is] our lawgiver

mə·ḥō·qə·qê·nū;

מְחֹקְקֵ֑נוּ

[is] our king

yō·wō·šî·‘ê·nū.

יוֹשִׁיעֵֽנוּ׃

your tacklings

ḥă·ḇā·lā·yiḵ;

do strengthen

yə·ḥaz·zə·qū

of an abundant

the inhabitant

[shall be] therein forgiven

[their] iniquity
