הַכֹּהֲנִ֜ים

הַנְּבִיאִ֗ים

of the inhabitants

yō·wō·šə·ḇê-

of Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim

יְרוּשָׁלִָ֖ם

from their graves

miq·qiḇ·rê·hem.

מִקִּבְרֵיהֶֽם׃

and they shall spread them

וּשְׁטָחוּם֩

before the sun

and the moon

wə·lay·yā·rê·aḥ

וְלַיָּרֵ֜חַ

haš·šā·ma·yim,

הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם

they have loved

they have served

they have walked

’a·ḥă·rê·hem,

אַֽחֲרֵיהֶ֔ם

I have driven

הִדַּחְתִּ֣ים

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ.

Moreover you shall say

wə·’ā·mar·tā

וְאָמַרְתָּ֣

Shall they fall

hă·yip·pə·lū

shall he turn away

[then] people

of Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

they hold fast

הֶחֱזִ֙יקוּ֙

bat·tar·mîṯ,

בַּתַּרְמִ֔ית

הִקְשַׁ֤בְתִּי

וָֽאֶשְׁמָע֙

[but] they spoke

yə·ḏab·bê·rū,

his wickedness

[bim·ru·ṣō·w·ṯām

[בִּמְרֻצֹותָם

to his course

(bim·rū·ṣā·ṯām,

(בִּמְר֣וּצָתָ֔ם

as the horse

into the battle

bam·mil·ḥā·māh.

בַּמִּלְחָמָֽה׃

ḇaš·šā·ma·yim,

בַשָּׁמַ֗יִם

appointed times

mō·w·‘ă·ḏe·hā,

מֽוֹעֲדֶ֔יהָ

and the turtle

and the swallow

of their migration

but my people

the judgment

do you say [are]

[is] certainly

[is] in vain

of the scribes

they are dismayed

way·yil·lā·ḵê·ḏū;

וַיִּלָּכֵ֑דוּ

they have rejected

wə·ḥā·ḵə·maṯ-

la·’ă·ḥê·rîm,

Their fields

śə·ḏō·w·ṯê·hem

שְׂדֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙

lə·yō·wr·šîm,

לְי֣וֹרְשִׁ֔ים

from the least

the greatest

From the prophet

For they have healed

of the daughter

of my people

[there is] peace

Were they ashamed

they had committed

do Were they ashamed

do at all ashamed

and they blush

wə·hik·kā·lêm

shall they fall

among those who fall

ḇan·nō·p̄ə·lîm,

בַנֹּפְלִ֗ים

of their visitation

pə·qud·dā·ṯām

פְּקֻדָּתָ֛ם

they shall be cast down

yik·kā·šə·lū

יִכָּשְׁל֖וּ

I will surely

consume them

[there shall be] grapes

bat·tə·’ê·nāh,

בַּתְּאֵנָ֗ה

and the leaf

wə·he·‘ā·leh

[the things that] and I have given

shall pass away

יַעַבְרֽוּם׃

still? assemble yourselves

hê·’ā·sə·p̄ū,

and let us enter

the defensed

and let us be silent

wə·nid·də·māh-

has put us to silence

hă·ḏim·mā·nū

הֲדִמָּ֙נוּ֙

and to drink

way·yaš·qê·nū

וַיַּשְׁקֵ֣נוּ

given us water

we have sinned

against the LORD

[came and] for a time

The snorting

of his horses

At the sound

of the neighing

miṣ·hă·lō·wṯ

of his strong ones

and for they have come

way·yā·ḇō·w·’ū,

וַיָּב֗וֹאוּ

and have devoured

way·yō·ḵə·lū

וַיֹּֽאכְלוּ֙

ū·mə·lō·w·’āh,

וּמְלוֹאָ֔הּ

and those who dwell

mə·šal·lê·aḥ

ṣip̄·‘ō·nîm,

and they shall bite

wə·niš·šə·ḵū

וְנִשְּׁכ֥וּ

[When] I would comfort

maḇ·lî·ḡî·ṯî

מַבְלִ֥יגִיתִ֖י

of the daughter

of my people

from a distant

mar·ḥaq·qîm,

מַרְחַקִּ֔ים

[is] the LORD

bə·ṣî·yō·wn,

have they provoked me to anger

hiḵ·‘i·sū·nî

הִכְעִס֛וּנִי

with their graven images

bip̄·si·lê·hem

בִּפְסִלֵיהֶ֖ם

with strange

wa·’ă·naḥ·nū

וַאֲנַ֖חְנוּ

nō·wō·šā·‘ə·nū.

נוֹשָֽׁעְנוּ׃

of the daughter

of my people

hā·šə·bā·rə·tî;

הָשְׁבָּ֑רְתִּי

astonishment

has taken hold

he·ḥĕ·zi·qā·ṯə·nî.

הֶחֱזִקָֽתְנִי׃

[Is there] balm

[is there] physician
