O you priests

hak·kō·hă·nîm.

הַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ,

and I will even send

wə·šil·laḥ·tî

וְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֤י

ham·mə·’ê·rāh,

and I will curse

wə·’ā·rō·w·ṯî

your blessings

bir·ḵō·w·ṯê·ḵem;

בִּרְכֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם

I have cursed

’ā·rō·w·ṯî·hā,

I will corrupt

your offspring

[even] the dung

of your solemn feasts

[one] and [one] shall take you away

וִֽידַעְתֶּ֕ם

שִׁלַּ֣חְתִּי

that My covenant

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ.

בְּרִיתִ֣י ׀

wə·haš·šā·lō·wm,

וְהַ֨שָּׁל֔וֹם

wā·’et·tə·nêm-

וָאֶתְּנֵֽם־

[for] them to him the fear

and with which he feared

way·yî·rā·’ê·nî;

וַיִּֽירָאֵ֑נִי

and was afraid

in his mouth

and iniquity

ḇiś·p̄ā·ṯāw;

בִשְׂפָתָ֑יו

with Me in peace

ū·ḇə·mî·šō·wr

וּבְמִישׁוֹר֙

from iniquity

they should seek

from his mouth

he is the messenger

are departed

you have caused to stumble

הִכְשַׁלְתֶּ֥ם

by the instruction

bat·tō·w·rāh;

you have corrupted

the covenant

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ.

Therefore have I

contemptible

ū·šə·p̄ā·lîm

וּשְׁפָלִ֖ים

according over

[that] which

you have not

but have been partial

wə·nō·śə·’îm

וְנֹשְׂאִ֥ים

in the instruction

bat·tō·w·rāh.

בַּתּוֹרָֽה׃

lə·ḵul·lā·nū,

bə·rā·’ā·nū;

do we deal treacherously

against his brother

by profaning

the covenant

of our fathers

’ă·ḇō·ṯê·nū.

אֲבֹתֵֽינוּ׃

has dealt treacherously

and an abomination

wə·ṯō·w·‘ê·ḇāh

is committed

ḇə·yiś·rā·’êl

בְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

and in Jerusalem

ū·ḇî·rū·šā·lim;

וּבִירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם

has profaned

the holiness

and has married

the daughter

of a strange

will cut off

ya·‘ă·śen·nāh

יַעֲשֶׂ֙נָּה֙

and the scholar

from the tents

of Jacob him

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ.

have you done

with weeping

and with crying out

wa·’ă·nā·qāh;

so that he regards

the offering

ham·min·ḥāh,

or receives [it]

wə·lā·qa·ḥaṯ

with good will

from your hand

מִיֶּדְכֶֽם׃

and Yet you say

wa·’ă·mar·tem

וַאֲמַרְתֶּ֖ם

has been witness

of your youth

nə·‘ū·re·ḵā,

have dealt treacherously

בָּגַ֣דְתָּה

[is] your companion

ḥă·ḇer·tə·ḵā

חֲבֶרְתְּךָ֖

and the wife

bə·rî·ṯe·ḵā.

בְּרִיתֶֽךָ׃

and Yet had he the residue

of the spirit

That he might seek

Therefore take heed

wə·niš·mar·tem

וְנִשְׁמַרְתֶּם֙

to your spirit

bə·rū·ḥă·ḵem,

בְּר֣וּחֲכֶ֔ם

and against the wife

of his youth

deal treacherously

that he hates

putting away

[one] for covers

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ;

therefore take heed

wə·niš·mar·tem

וְנִשְׁמַרְתֶּ֥ם

to your spirit

bə·rū·ḥă·ḵem

בְּרוּחֲכֶ֖ם

you deal treacherously

תִבְגֹּֽדוּ׃

have wearied

hō·w·ḡa‘·tem

הוֹגַעְתֶּ֤ם

with your words

bə·ḏiḇ·rê·ḵem,

בְּדִבְרֵיכֶ֔ם

and Yet you say

wa·’ă·mar·tem

וַאֲמַרְתֶּ֖ם

have we wearied

hō·w·ḡā·‘ə·nū;

[him] When you say

be·’ĕ·mā·rə·ḵem,

בֶּאֱמָרְכֶ֗ם

in the sight

[is] the God

ham·miš·pāṭ.
