On the σπεῖρα Ἰταλική in Acts 10:1 see Ramsay Was Christ born in Bethlehem? p. 260 ff. From Delos at the end of ii/B.C. comes the inscr.—Γαῖον Ὀφέλλιον Μαάρκου υἱὸν Φέρον Ἰταλικοὶ δικαιοσύνης ἕνεκα καὶ φιλαγαθίας τῆς εἰς ἑαυτούς (Michel 1163).
