I late, ὀψίᾳ ἐν νυκτί Pi. I. 4(3).35(53); ὅταν ἔαρ ὄ. γένηται Arist. HA 553b20, cf. 627b20; ὄ. σῦκα, πυροί, etc., Thphr. HP 2.8.1, 8.4.3, etc.; [ ᾠὰ] τὰ μὲν πρώϊα τὰ δ' ὄ. Arist. HA 543a10; cf. ὀψία.

II Att. Comp. ὀψιαίτερος, α, ον, later, Id. Mete. 362a24, al., Thphr. CP 1.10.5: Sup. ὀψιαίτατος, η, ον, X. HG 5.4.3: hence ὀψιαίτερον as Adv., Comp. of ὀψέ, Pl. Cra. 433a, Thphr.
