Strong's #5123 - τουτέστι
- that is
= τοῦτ' ἔστι, that is to say, Mark 7:2, Plu. 2.64c, Heph. 12.1, A.D. Synt. 29.13, Cod.Just. 18.104.22.168, etc.; f.l. in Arist. Fr. 94 (codd. SM Stob.).
τουτέστι = τοῦτ᾿ ἔστι .

For the late use of ὕπαρξις to denote ";substance,"; ";property,"; as in Hebrews 10:34, cf. P Oxy X. 1274.14 (iii/A.D.) τὴν ὕπαρξιν αὐτοῦ πᾶσαν οὖσαν τιμήματος δουκηναρίας, ";all his property valued at two hundred thousand sesterces"; (Edd.). Cf. Teles p. 43.9 ἢ ποία χρημάτων ὕπαρξις <τῶν > τοιούτων ἐπιθυμιῶν ἀπολύει; In MGr ὕπαρξι means ";existence.";
