בֵּיצָה f. an egg, so called from its whiteness, Arab. بَيْضَةُ Syr. ܒܺܝܥܬܐܳ. In sing. not found. Pl. בֵּיצִים with adj. f. בֵּיצִים עֲזֻבוֹת “eggs that are left,” Isaiah 10:14; Deuteronomy 22:6; Job 39:14; Isaiah 59:5. [Root בּוּץ.]
