בָּתַק not used in Kal. Once in Piel, Ezekiel 16:40, בִתְּקוּךְ בְּחַרְבוֹתָם “and they shall cut thee in pieces with their swords.” LXX. κατασφάξουσί σε. Vulg. trucidabunt te. (Arab. بَتَكَ to cleave asunder, to cut, to cut off. Eth. በተከ፡ to break.)
