זֵעָה f. sweat, the effect of violent motion (from the root זוּעַ, whence the Tzere is impure). [In Thes. derived from יָזַע], Genesis 3:19 elsewhere there is also יֶזַע. (Talmud. זֵיעָה sweat, הֵזִיעַ to sweat, Syr. ܕܘܽܠܬܐܳ sweat, whence a new verb ܕܥܰܬ to sweat.)
