1 mourning cry (or feast? Talmud מִרְזֵיחָא), absolute ׳בֵּית מ Jeremiah 16:5i.e. house of mourning ("" ספד, נוד).

מַרְזֵחַ Jeremiah 16:5, const. מִרְזַּח., Amos 6:7 (compare Lehrg. p. 578), i.q. Arab. رَزَحُ clamour, outcry, the lifting up of the voice, whether in rejoicing, Amos loc. cit., or in weeping, Jer. loc. cit.; compare مِرْزِيحُ endued with a loud voice. Medial words of the same kind are יָלַל and רָנַן.
