פָּרָק const. פְּרַק broth, soup, Isaiah 65:4 כתיב, so called from the fragments of bread (Brocken), on which the broth is poured; compare Arab. مفروقة food made of fragments of bread with hot oil poured on them. The same is מָרָק, which see.
