רָצַח
(1) to break, or dash in pieces. (Arab. رضح and رضخ.) See Piel No. 1, and the noun רֵצַח.
(2) to kill, with an acc. Numbers 35:6, seqq.; more fully רָצַח פּ׳ נֶפֶשׁ Deuteronomy 22:26, compare הִכָּה פ׳ נֶפֶשׁ under the word הִכָּה No. 2, c.

Piel
(1) to dash in pieces, Psalms 62:4.
(2) i.q. Kal No. 2, but iteratively (like קַטֵּל), to kill many, to act the homicide, 2 Kings 6:32; Isaiah 1:21; Hosea 6:9.
