קֵן m., const. followed by Makkeph קַֽן־ Deuteronomy 22:6, with suff. קִנּוֹ (from the root קָנַן)

(1)  a nest, Isaiah 10:14 meton. young ones in a nest, Deuteronomy 32:11; Isaiah 16:2.

(2) metaph. abode, especially one on a lofty rock, like an eagle’s nest, Numbers 24:21; Jeremiah 49:16; Obadiah 1:4; Habakkuk 2:9 or as being pleasant and comfortable (Gr. καλία), Job 29:18. Pl. קִנִּים cells, chambers (of the ark), Genesis 6:14.
