But the righteousness that comes from faith says, "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will go up to heaven?' (that is, to bring Christ down),Deuteronomy 30:12-13;">[xr]

Consequently, faith comes from listening, and listening comes through the word of Christ.of God">[fn]

That's right! They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you remain only because of faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid!be reverent">[fn]Proverbs 28:14; Isaiah 66:2; Romans 12:16; Philippians 2:12;">[xr]

As for the faith you do have, have it as your own conviction before God. How blessed is the person who has no reason to condemn himself because of what he approves!1 John 3:21;">[xr]

But the person who has doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not act in faith; and anything that is not done in faith is sin.Titus 1:15;">[xr]

so that your faith would not be based on human wisdom but on God's power.2 Corinthians 4:7; 6:7;">[xr]

to another faith by the same Spirit; to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit;Matthew 17:19-20; Mark 16:18; 1 Corinthians 13:2; 2 Corinthians 4:13; James 5:14;">[xr]

If I have the gift of prophecy and can understand all secrets and every form of knowledge, and if I have absolute faith so as to move mountains but have no love, I am nothing.Matthew 7:22; 17:20; Mark 11:23; Luke 17:6; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10,28; 14:1;">[xr]

Right now three things remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.

and by which you are also being saved if you hold firmly to the message I proclaimed to you - unless, of course, your faith was worthless.Romans 1:16; 1 Corinthians 1:21; Galatians 3:4;">[xr]

and if Christ has not been raised, then our message means nothing and yourour">[fn] faith means nothing.

and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless and you are still in your sins.Romans 4:25;">[xr]

Now since we have the same spirit of faith in keeping with what is written - "I believed, and so I spoke"Psalm 116:10">[fn] - we also believe, and so we speak.Psalm 116:10; Romans 1:12; 2 Peter 1:1;">[xr]

For we live by faith, not by sight.Romans 8:24-25; 1 Corinthians 13:12; 2 Corinthians 4:18; Hebrews 11:1;">[xr]

Indeed, the more your faith, speech, knowledge, enthusiasm, and love for us increase, the more we want you to be rich in this work of kindness.this grace">[fn]1 Corinthians 1:5; 12:8; 2 Corinthians 9:8;">[xr]
