GOD created the heavens and the earth in the very beginning.

And God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light upon the earth,

THUS the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the heavens and the earth.

Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens belongs to the LORD your God, the earth also, with all that therein is.

GIVE ear, O heavens, and I will speak; and let the earth hear the words of my mouth.

In the heaven of heavens is the dwelling of our God from everlasting, and below he creates men; and he shall destroy your enemies from before you; for he said, Destroy them.

Then hear thou from the heavens and forgive the sins of thy people Israel and bring them again to the land which thou gavest to them and to their fathers.

Then hear thou from the heavens their prayer and their supplication, and plead their cause.
