Suddenly, a violent storm arose on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves—but Jesus kept sleeping.

So the disciples came and woke him up, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to die!”

When he had come to the other side, to the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men met him as they came out of the tombs. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.

So he got into a boat, crossed over, and came to his own town.

But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”

So he got up and went home.

So Jesus and his disciples got up and followed him.

So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

so that what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled:

Then a demon-possessed man who was blind and unable to speak was brought to him. He healed him, so that the man could both speak and see.

“So listen to the parable of the sower:

It’s the smallest of all the seeds, but when grown, it’s taller than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the sky come and nest in its branches.”

so that what was spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled:

Therefore, just as the weeds are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age.

So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will go out, separate the evil people from the righteous,

He went to his hometown and began to teach them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?

And his sisters, aren’t they all with us? So where does he get all these things?”

So he promised with an oath to give her whatever she asked.

So he sent orders and had John beheaded in the prison.

When evening came, the disciples approached him and said, “This place is deserted, and it is already late. Send the crowds away so that they can go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”
