So when the Samaritans came to him, they asked him to stay with them, and he stayed there two days.

and so the Jews said to the man who had been healed, “This is the Sabbath. The law prohibits you from picking up your mat.”

After this, Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you are well. Do not sin anymore, so that something worse doesn’t happen to you.”

so that all people may honor the Son just as they honor the Father.

For just as the Father has life in himself, so also he has granted to the Son

I don’t receive human testimony, but I say these things so that you may be saved.

So when Jesus looked up and noticed a huge crowd coming toward him, he asked Philip, “Where will we buy bread so that these people can eat?”

“There’s a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish—but what are they for so many?”

Then Jesus took the loaves, and after giving thanks he distributed them to those who were seated—so also with the fish, as much as they wanted.

When they were full, he told his disciples, “Collect the leftovers so that nothing is wasted.”

So they collected them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces from the five barley loaves that were left over by those who had eaten.

“What sign, then, are you going to do so we may see and believe you?” they asked. “What are you going to perform?

This is the bread that comes down from heaven so that anyone may eat of it and not die.

So Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man

So Jesus said to the Twelve, “You don’t want to go away too, do you?”

So his brothers said to him, “Leave here and go to Judea so your disciples can see your works that you are doing.

Then the Jews were amazed and said, “How is this man so learned, since he hasn’t been trained?”

The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring these things about him, and so the chief priests and the Pharisees sent servants to arrest him.

Then the Jews said to one another, “Where does he intend to go so we won’t find him? He doesn’t intend to go to the Jewish people dispersed among the Greeks and teach the Greeks, does he?

So the crowd was divided because of him.
