Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow. They must wash their clothes

When Moses came down from the mountain to the people, he consecrated them, and they washed their clothes.

Then Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.

All the people witnessed the thunder and lightning, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain in smoke. And when the people saw this, they trembled and stood at a distance.

"Speak to us yourself and we will listen," they said to Moses. "But do not let God speak to us, or we will die."

If a man's ox injures his neighbor's ox and it dies, they must sell the live one and divide the proceeds; they also must divide the dead animal.

If a man grazes his livestock in a field or vineyard and allows them to stray so that they graze in someone else's field, he must make restitution from the best of his own field or vineyard.

If a man gives his neighbor money or goods for safekeeping and they are stolen from the neighbor's house, the thief, if caught, must pay back double.

If you do mistreat them, and they cry out to Me in distress, I will surely hear their cry.

but in the seventh year you must let it rest and lie fallow, so that the poor among your people may eat of the field, and the wild animals may consume what they leave. Do the same with your vineyard and olive grove.

When Moses came and told the people all the words and ordinances of the LORD, they all responded with one voice: "All the words that the LORD has spoken, we will do."

Then he sent out some young men of Israel, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed young bulls as peace offerings to the LORD.

and they saw the God of Israel. Under His feet was a work like a pavement made of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself.

But God did not lay His hand on the nobles of Israel; they saw Him, and they ate and drank.

And they are to make a sanctuary for Me, so that I may dwell among them.

And they are to construct an ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high.

Make seven lamps and set them up on the lampstand so that they illuminate the area in front of it.

These are the garments that they shall make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a woven tunic, a turban, and a sash. They are to make these holy garments for your brother Aaron and his sons, so that they may serve Me as priests.

They shall use gold, along with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and fine linen.

And place the Urim and Thummim in the breastpiece of judgment, so that they will also be over Aaron's heart whenever he comes before the LORD. Aaron will continually carry the judgment of the sons of Israel over his heart before the LORD.
