But while they were on their way to buy it, the bridegroom arrived. Those who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet, and the door was shut.

And they too will reply, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?'

And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

and they conspired to arrest Jesus covertly and kill Him.

When the disciples saw this, they were indignant and asked, "Why this waste?

and asked, "What are you willing to give me if I hand Him over to you?" And they set out for him thirty pieces of silver.

And while they were eating, He said to them, "Truly I tell you, one of you will betray Me."

They were deeply grieved and began to ask Him one after another, "Surely not I, Lord?"

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, spoke a blessing and broke it, and gave it to the disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is My body."

And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Then they spat in His face and struck Him. Others slapped Him

They bound Him, led Him away, and handed Him over to Pilate the governor.

and they gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord had commanded me."

They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him.

And they twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on His head. They put a staff in His right hand and knelt down before Him to mock Him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!"

Then they spat on Him and took the staff and struck Him on the head repeatedly.

After they had mocked Him, they removed the robe and put His own clothes back on Him. Then they led Him away to crucify Him.

Along the way they found a man from Cyrene, named Simon, and they forced him to carry the cross of Jesus.

And when they came to a place called Golgotha, which means The Place of the Skull,

And sitting down, they kept watch over Him there.
