And they brought Urijah out of Egypt and brought him to Jehoiakim the king, who struck him with the sword, and threw his dead body into the graves of the sons of the people.

For they prophesy a lie to you, to remove you far from your land, that I should drive you out, and you should perish.

For I have not sent them, says Jehovah. Yea, they prophesy a lie in My name, so that I might drive you out, and that you might perish, you and the prophets who prophesy to you.

Also I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, So says Jehovah, Do not listen to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the house of Jehovah shall now be quickly brought again from Babylon. For they prophesy a lie to you.

But if they are prophets, and if the Word of Jehovah is with them, let them now intercede with Jehovah of Hosts that the vessels which are left in the house of Jehovah, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, may not go to Babylon.

They shall be brought to Babylon, and they shall be there until the day I visit them, says Jehovah. Then I will bring them up and give them back to this place.

For so says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel: I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. And they shall serve him. And I have given him the beasts of the field also.

Take wives, and father sons and daughters. And take wives for your sons; and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters, and multiply there, and do not become few.

For they have not listened to My Words, says Jehovah, which I sent to them by My servants the prophets, rising up early and sending; but you would not hear, says Jehovah.

because they have committed disgraceful folly in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbor's wives, and have spoken a lying word in My name, which I have not commanded them. For I am He who knows, and a witness, saysJehovah.

For, lo, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will turn the captivity of My people Israel and Judah, says Jehovah; and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

but they shall serve Jehovah their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up to them.

For I will give health back to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Jehovah, because they called you, Outcast; saying , This is Zion; no one is seeking for her.

And out of them shall come thanksgiving and the voice of those who are merry. And I will multiply them, and they shall not be few. I also will honor them, and they shall not be small.

At that time, says Jehovah, I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people.

They shall come with weeping, and I will lead them with prayers. I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a right way; they will not stumble in it. For I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is My first-born.

And they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and be radiant over the goodness of Jehovah, for grain, and for wine, and for oil, and for the sons of the flock and the herd. And their life shall be as a watered garden; and they shall notpine away any more at all.

So says Jehovah, Hold back your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears. For there will be a reward for your work, says Jehovah, and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.

So says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel: Again they will speak this Word in the land of Judah, and in its cities, when I turn again their captivity, saying , Jehovah bless you, O home of righteousness, O holy mountain!

In those days they shall not any more say, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the teeth of the sons are dull.
