Gird up now your loins like a [noble] man; For I will demand of you, and you declare to me.

When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy?

When I made clouds the garment thereof, And thick darkness a swaddling-band for it,

And marked out for it my bound, And set bars and doors,

Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And as for darkness, where is the place thereof,

[Doubtless], you know, for you were then born, And the number of your days is great!

Who has cleft a channel for the waterflood, Or the way for the lightning of the thunder;

Can you hunt the prey for the lioness, Or satisfy the appetite of the young lions,

Who provides for the raven his prey, When his young ones cry to God, [And] wander for lack of food?

For she leaves her eggs on the earth, And warms them in the dust,

Will he make a covenant with you, That you should take him for a slave forever?

Will you play with him as with a bird? Or will you bind him for your maidens?

Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge? Therefore I have uttered that which I didn't understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I didn't know.

And it was so, that, after Yahweh had spoken these words to Job, Yahweh said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against you, and against your two friends; for you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my slave Job has.

Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my slave Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt-offering; and my slave Job shall pray for you; for him I will accept, that I do not deal with you after your folly; for you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my slave Job has.

And Yahweh turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: and Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before.

For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous; But the way of the wicked, shall perish.

Ask of me, and I will give [you] the nations for your inheritance; And for your possession, the uttermost parts of the earth.

Embrace purity, or else he will be angry, and you will perish in the way, For his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those that take refuge in him.

Many there are that say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
