Light dawns for the righteous,gladness for the upright in heart.

Sing a new song to the Lord,for he has performed wonders;his right hand and holy armhave won him victory.

Let the whole earth shout to the Lord;be jubilant, shout for joy, and sing.

Let the rivers clap their hands;let the mountains shout together for joy

before the Lord,for he is coming to judge the earth.He will judge the world righteouslyand the peoples fairly.

Exalt the Lord our God;bow in worship at his holy mountain,for the Lord our God is holy.

For the Lord is good, and his faithful love endures forever;his faithfulness, through all generations.

Lord, hear my prayer;let my cry for help come before you.

For my days vanish like smoke,and my bones burn like a furnace.

because of your indignation and wrath;for you have picked me up and thrown me aside.

You will rise up and have compassion on Zion,for it is time to show favor to her—the appointed time has come.

For your servants take delight in its stonesand favor its dust.

for the Lord will rebuild Zion;he will appear in his glory.

This will be written for a later generation,and a people who have not yet been created will praise the Lord:

The Lord executes acts of righteousnessand justice for all the oppressed.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth,so great is his faithful lovetoward those who fear him.

For he knows what we are made of,remembering that we are dust.
