which, when it was filled, they drew up on the beach. They sat down, and gathered the good into containers, but the bad they threw away.

Coming into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, so much that they were astonished, and said, "Where did this man get this wisdom, and these mighty works?

They were offended by him. But Yeshua said to them, "A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and in his own house."

His talmidim came, and took up the body, and buried it; and they went and told Yeshua.

When evening had come, his talmidim came to him, saying, "This place is a desert, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves food."

They told him, "We only have here five loaves and two fish."

They all ate, and were filled. They took up twelve baskets full of that which remained left over from the broken pieces.

When the talmidim saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It is a ghost!" and they cried out for fear.

When the men of that place recognized him, they sent into all that region round about, and brought to him all who were sick,

and they begged him that they might only touch the tzitzit of his garment. As many as touched it were made whole.

Then the talmidim came, and said to him, "Do you know that the Perushim were offended, when they heard this saying?"

But the things which proceed out of the mouth come forth out of the heart, and they defile the man.

There came to him great multitudes, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others, and they put them down at his feet. He healed them,

so that the multitude wondered when they saw the mute speaking, injured whole, lame walking, and blind seeing -- and they glorified the God of Yisra'el.

Yeshua called his talmidim to himself, and said, "I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I don't want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way."

Yeshua said to them, "How many loaves do you have?" They said, "Seven, and a few small fish."

They all ate, and were filled. They took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over.

Then they understood that he didn't tell them to beware of the yeast of bread, but of the teaching of the Perushim and Tzedukim.

They said, "Some say Yochanan the immerser, some, Eliyah, and others, Yirmeyahu, or one of the prophets."

When the talmidim heard it, they fell on their faces, and were very afraid.
