He departed there, and went into the house of a certain man named Justus, one who worshiped God, whose house was next door to the synagogue.

He lived there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

saying, "This man persuades men to worship God contrary to the law."

but taking his leave of them, and saying, "I must by all means keep this coming feast in Yerushalayim, but I will return again to you if God wills," he set sail from Ephesus.

He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. But when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside, and explained to him the way of God more accurately.

He entered into the synagogue, and spoke boldly for a period of three months, reasoning and persuading about the things concerning the kingdom of God.

God worked special miracles by the hands of Sha'ul,

testifying both to Yehudim and to Yevanim repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.

But these things don't count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Yeshua, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.

Now, behold, I know that you all, among whom I went about preaching the kingdom of God, will see my face no more.

for I didn't shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.

Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Ruach HaKodesh has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of the Lord and God which he purchased with his own blood.

Now, brothers, I entrust you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build up, and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

When he had greeted them, he reported one by one the things which God had worked among the Goyim through his ministry.

They, when they heard it, glorified God. They said to him, "You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Yehudim of those who have believed, and they are all zealous for the law.

"I am indeed a Yehudi, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamli'el, instructed according to the strict manner of the law of our fathers, being zealous for God, even as you all are this day.

He said, 'The God of our fathers has appointed you to know his will, and to see the Righteous One, and to hear a voice from his mouth.

Sha'ul, looking steadfastly at the council, said, "Brothers, I have lived before God in all good conscience until this day."

Then Sha'ul said to him, "God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! Do you sit to judge me according to the law, and command me to be struck contrary to the law?"

A great clamor arose, and some of the Sofrim of the Perushim part stood up, and contended, saying, "We find no evil in this man. But if a spirit or angel has spoken to him, let's not fight against God!"
