"His strong scales are his pride, Shut up as with a tight seal.

"His sneezes flash forth light, And his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.

"Out of his mouth go burning torches; Sparks of fire leap forth.

"Out of his nostrils smoke goes forth As from a boiling pot and burning rushes.

"His breath kindles coals, And a flame goes forth from his mouth.

"In his neck lodges strength, And dismay leaps before him.

"The folds of his flesh are joined together, Firm on him and immovable.

"His heart is as hard as a stone, Even as hard as a lower millstone.

"His underparts are like sharp potsherds; He spreads out like a threshing sledge on the mire.

Praise the LORD! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty expanse.

Praise Him for His mighty deeds; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness.

To execute on them the judgment written; This is an honor for all His godly ones. Praise the LORD!

Let them praise the name of the LORD, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above earth and heaven.

And He has lifted up a horn for His people, Praise for all His godly ones; Even for the sons of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise the LORD!

He sends forth His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly.

He casts forth His ice as fragments; Who can stand before His cold?

But his delight is in the law of the Lord , And in His law he meditates day and night.

The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers take counsel together Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,

Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His fury, saying,

Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!
