Listen, He Who watches over Israel will not close his eyes or sleep.

The Lord is around His people like the mountains are around Jerusalem, now and forever.

He who goes out crying as he carries his bag of seed will return with songs of joy as he brings much grain with him.

You rise up early, and go to bed late, and work hard for your food, all for nothing. For the Lord gives to His loved ones even while they sleep.

Happy are all who honor the Lord with fear, and who walk in His ways.

No one can pick it and fill his hand. No one can gather it and fill his arms.

I wait for the Lord. My soul waits and I hope in His Word.

For sure I have made my soul quiet like a child who no longer nurses while he is with his mother. My soul within me is like a child who no longer nurses.

O Lord, remember David and all of his suffering.

Let us go into the House of God. Let us worship at His feet.

It is like oil of great worth poured on the head, flowing down through the hair on the face, even the face of Aaron, and flowing down to his coat.

Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good. Sing praises to His name, for it is sweet.

He makes the clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning come with the rain. He brings the wind out from where He stores His riches.

He sent special things to see and did great works among you, O Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants.

And He gave their land as a gift, a gift to Israel His people.

For the Lord will decide in favor of His people. He will have loving-pity on His servants.

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His loving-kindness lasts forever.

Give thanks to the God of gods, for His loving-kindness lasts forever.

Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for His loving-kindness lasts forever.

Give thanks to Him Who alone does great works, for His loving-kindness lasts forever.
