His servants shall dwell in it and shall inherit it; they that love his name shall dwell therein.

In his days shall the righteous flourish, and abundance of peace so long as the moon endures.

They that dwell on the islands shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.

He shall redeem their souls from deceit and violence; precious shall their blood be in his sight.

He shall multiply like wheat upon the earth; his seed shall spring up on the mountain tops, as on Lebanon; and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

His name shall endure for ever; his name shall be continued as long as the sun; and men shall be blessed in him; all nations shall call him blessed.

And blessed be his glorious name for ever; and let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and Amen.

IN Judah is God known; his name is great in Israel.

In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.

For the wisdom of man shall praise thee; the remainder of his wrath shalt thou restrain.

Is his mercy gone for ever? does his promise fail for evermore?

Has God forgotten to be gracious? has he in anger shut up his tender mercies?

We will not hide from their children, showing to the generation to come the praise of the LORD and his strength and the wonderful works that he has done.

That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments;

For they kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law;

And forgot his works and his wonders that he had shown them in the sight of their fathers.

Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide food for his people?

Because they believed not in God and trusted not in his salvation:

He caused winds to blow in the skies; and by his power he brought in the south wind.

Nevertheless they sinned still, and believed not in his wondrous works.
