Nevertheless I am continually with thee; thou hast held me by my right hand.

My eyes are dazed; I am dumb so that I cannot speak.

I have considered the days of old; I am mindful of the years of ancient times.

I am like a pelican of the wilderness; I am like an owl of the desert.

My days are like a shadow that declines; and I am withered like grass.

For I am poor and needy, and my heart is troubled within me.

I am bent like the shadow when it declines; I am tossed up and down as the locust.

O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thy handmaid; thou hast loosed my bonds.

I have meditated in thy commandments, and am familiar with thy ways.

I am a sojourner with thee; hide not thy commandments from me.

I am a friend of all them that worship thee, and of them that keep thy commandments.

I am thine, deliver me; for I have kept thy commandments.

I am afflicted very much; quicken me, O LORD, according to thy word.
