I am the LORD your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Mitzrayim, that you should not be their bondservants; and I have broken the bars of your yoke, and made you go upright.

Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them; for I am the LORD their God;

but I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Mitzrayim in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.

He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die; because his separation to God is on his head.

When you go to war in your land against the adversary who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets; and you shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and you shall be saved from your enemies.

Also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.

Moshe cried to the LORD, saying, Heal her, God, I beg you.

that you may remember and do all my mitzvot, and be holy to your God.

I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Mitzrayim, to be your God: I am the LORD your God.

[seems it but] a small thing to you, that the God of Yisra'el has separated you from the congregation of Yisra'el, to bring you near to himself, to do the service of the tent of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister to them;

They fell on their faces, and said, God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and will you be angry with all the congregation?

The people spoke against God, and against Moshe, Why have you brought us up out of Mitzrayim to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, and there is no water; and our soul loathes this light bread.

God came to Bil`am, and said, What men are these with you?

Bil`am said to God, Balak the son of Tzippor, king of Mo'av, has sent to me, [saying],

God said to Bil`am, You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people; for they are blessed.

Bil`am answered the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I can't go beyond the word of the LORD my God, to do less or more.

God came to Bil`am at night, and said to him, If the men are come to call you, rise up, go with them; but only the word which I speak to you, that shall you do.

Bil`am said to Balak, Behold, I have come to you: have I now any power at all to speak anything? the word that God puts in my mouth, that shall I speak.

God met Bil`am: and he said to him, I have prepared the seven altars, and I have offered up a bull and a ram on every altar.

How shall I curse, whom God has not cursed? How shall I defy, whom the LORD has not defied?
