After three days Pharaoh shall remember you and restore you to your position; and you shall give Pharaohs cup into his hand, as you did before when you were his butler.

And it came to pass on the third day, which was Pharaohs birthday, that he made a banquet for all his servants; and he remembered the chief butler and the chief baker among his servants.

And he restored the chief butler to his position; and he gave the cup into Pharaohs hands:

And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; so he sent and called for all the magicians and all the wise men of Egypt; and Pharaoh told them his dreams; but there was no man who could interpret them to Pharaoh.

Pharaoh was angry with his servants, and put me in the prison in the commander of the guards house, both me and the chief baker;

And we dreamed dreams in the same night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream.

And there was with us a young man, a Hebrew, a servant of the commander of the guard; and we told him our dreams, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.

Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon; and he shaved himself, and changed his clothes, and came in before Pharaoh.

And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.

And Pharaoh said to his servants, Can we find such a man as this, in whom the Spirit of God is?

Then Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it on Josephs hand, and arrayed him in robes of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck:

And Joseph called the name of his first-born Manasseh; For God, said he, has made me forget all my troubles, and all my fathers house.

NOW when Jacob saw that there was grain in Egypt, Jacob said to his sons, Fear not.

But Benjamin, Josephs brother, Jacob did not send with his brothers; for he said, Lest some misfortune might befall him.

And Joseph saw his brothers and recognized them, but he deceived them and spoke harshly to them; and he said to them, Where have you come from? And they said, We came from the land of Canaan to buy grain.

And Joseph recognized his brothers, but they did not recognize him.

And they said one to another, Truly we are guilty concerning our brother, for we saw the anguish of his soul when he pleaded with us, and we would not listen to him; therefore is this distress come upon us.

And Reuben answered and said to them, Did I not tell you, Do not sin against the boy; but you did not listen? So now his blood is required.

Then Joseph commanded the servants to fill their sacks with wheat, and to restore every mans money into his sack, and to give them provisions for the journey; and they did so for them.

And as one of them opened his sack to give his ass provender in the inn, he saw his money in the mouth of his sack.
