And he shall stand and feed his flock in the strength of the Lord , in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God. And they shall live secure, for now he shall be great to the ends of the earth;

Hear, you mountains, the controversy of the Lord , and you enduring foundations of the earth; for the Lord has a controversy with his people, and he will contend with Israel.

I must bear the indignation of the Lord , because I have sinned against him, until he takes my side and executes judgment for me. He will bring me out to the light; I shall see his vindication.

Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of your possession? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in showing clemency.

A jealous and avenging God is the Lord , the Lord is avenging and wrathful; the Lord takes vengeance on his adversaries and rages against his enemies.

The Lord is slow to anger but great in power, and the Lord will by no means clear the guilty. His way is in whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the heat of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and by him the rocks are broken in pieces.

even in a rushing flood. He will make a full end of his adversaries, and will pursue his enemies into darkness.

And now I will break off his yoke from you and snap the bonds that bind you."

The shields of his warriors are red; his soldiers are clothed in crimson. The metal on the chariots flashes on the day when he musters them; the chargers prance.

He calls his officers; they stumble as they come forward; they hasten to the wall, and the mantelet is set up.

The lion has torn enough for his whelps and strangled prey for his lionesses; he has filled his caves with prey and his dens with torn flesh.

The enemy brings all of them up with a hook; he drags them out with his net, he gathers them in his seine; so he rejoices and exults.

Therefore he sacrifices to his net and makes offerings to his seine; for by them his portion is lavish, and his food is rich.

Is he then to keep on emptying his net, and destroying nations without mercy?

But the Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him!

God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.

The brightness was like the sun; rays came forth from his hand, where his power lay hidden.

He stopped and shook the earth; he looked and made the nations tremble. The eternal mountains were shattered; along his ancient pathways the everlasting hills sank low.

You pierced with their own arrows the head of his warriors, who came like a whirlwind to scatter us, gloating as if ready to devour the poor who were in hiding.
