He who oppresses the poor adds to his evil; and he who gives to the rich, shall suffer a loss.

Lest you learn his ways and find a stumbling block to your soul.

When you see that a man is diligent in his work, he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before obscure men.

Be not desirous of his food; for his bread is bread of deceit.

Do not eat with a hypocrite, neither desire his food;

For he is like him that swallows pitch; in like manner you will eat and drink with him, but his heart is not with you.

For when you beat him with the rod, you will deliver his soul from Sheol.

Wisdom crushes a fool; he opens not his mouth in the gate.

If you say, Behold, I did not know it, then know that it is God who searches the thought of the heart; and he who keeps your soul knows it, and shall render to every man according to his works.

Do not devise plots of iniquity in the dwelling of the righteous; do not spoil his resting place;

Lest the LORD see it and it displease him and he turn away his anger from him.

Say not, I will do so to him as he has done to me; I will render to him according to his works.

Let wicked men be driven from the presence of the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.

Like the cold of snow in the time of harvest, which cools the air, so is a faithful messenger to those who send him; for he refreshes the soul of his masters.

A man who bears false witness against his neighbor is like an iron bar, a sword, and a sharp arrow.

As he who takes away a garment from his neighbor in cold weather, as one who drops sand on the string of a musical instrument, as he who afflicts a broken heart, as a moth on a garment, and as a boring-worm on a tree: such is the effect of sorrow on a mans heart.

For when you shall do these things for him, you will heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD will reward you.

Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you be also like him.

He who sends a message by the hand of a fool drinks iniquity from under his own feet.

As a dog that returns to his vomit, so is a fool that misbehaves in his folly.
