Then let thistles grow instead of wheat and thorns instead of barley. The words of Job are ended.

SO these three men who wanted to condemn Job ceased answering him, because he was found righteous in their eyes.

Then Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, was angry; so his wrath against Job kindled, because he justified himself more than God.

His wrath also kindled against his three friends, because they had found no answer to Job so that they might condemn him.

Now Elihu had waited to correct Job with words, because the other men were older than he.

When Elihu saw that these three were unable to answer Job, then he was incensed.

Yea, I understood your testimony, and, behold, there was none of you that could reprove Job, or that could answer his words,

Now Job has not directed his words against me; neither will I answer him with your speeches.

WHEREFORE, hear my speech, O Job, and hearken to all my sayings.

Incline your ear, O Job, hearken to me; be silent, and I will speak.

For Job has said, I am righteous; and God has turned aside my judgment.

What man is like Job, who drinks up scorning like water?

Job has spoken without knowledge, and his words are without understanding.

Truly, Job has been tested to the end, and yet he is not counted among the wicked.

And if Job should add to his sins, then his transgression will affect us all, and he still will bring his complaint before God.

Therefore Job has spoken in vain; he multiplies words without knowledge.
