and they sent the multicolored tunic and brought it to their father and said, "We found this; please examine it to see whether it is your son's tunic or not."

It was while she was being brought out that she sent word to her father-in-law, saying, "I am pregnant by the man to whom these things belong." She also said, "Please examine and see, whose signet ring and cords and staff are these?"

she called to the men of her household and said to them, "See, he has brought in a Hebrew to us to make fun of us; he came in to me to sleep with me, and I screamed.

Pharaoh also said to Joseph, "See, I have placed you over all the land of Egypt."

Judah spoke to him, however, saying, "The man sternly warned us, 'You shall not see my face unless your brother is with you.'

"But if you do not send him, we will not go down; for the man said to us, 'You will not see my face unless your brother is with you.'"

"You said to your servants, however, 'Unless your youngest brother comes down with you, you will not see my face again.'

"But we said, 'We cannot go down. If our youngest brother is with us, then we will go down; for we cannot see the man's face unless our youngest brother is with us.'

"For how shall I go up to my father if the boy is not with me? I fear that I may see the evil that would overtake my father."

"Behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin see, that it is my mouth which is speaking to you.

Then Israel said, "It is enough; my son Joseph is still alive. I will go and see him before I die."

Now the eyes of Israel were so dim from age that he could not see. And Joseph brought them close to him, and he kissed them and embraced them.

And Israel said to Joseph, "I never expected to see your face, and behold, God has let me see your children as well!"

and he said, "When you are helping the Hebrew women to give birth and see them upon the birthstool, if it is a son, then you shall put him to death; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live."

So Moses said, "I must turn aside and see this marvelous sight, why the bush is not burning up!"

But the LORD said to him, "Who has made the human mouth? Or who makes anyone unable to speak or deaf, or able to see or blind? Is it not I, the LORD?

Then Moses departed and returned to his father-in-law Jethro, and said to him, "Please, let me go, that I may return to my brothers who are in Egypt, and see if they are still alive." And Jethro said to Moses, "Go in peace."

And the LORD said to Moses, "When you go back to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all the wonders which I have put in your power; but I will harden his heart so that he will not let the people go.

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh; for under compulsion he will let them go, and under compulsion he will drive them out of his land."

Then the LORD said to Moses, "See, I have made you as God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron shall be your prophet.
