And he was afraid and arose and ran for his life and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his young man there.

But do not seek Bethel,And do not come to Gilgal,Nor cross over to Beersheba;For Gilgal will certainly go into exile,And Bethel will become evil.

As for those who swear by the guilt of Samaria,Who say, ‘As your god lives, O Dan,'And, ‘As the way of Beersheba lives,'They will fall and not rise again."
